Silex Community Update | July 24

I hope you're enjoying your summer. Here are the July updates, featuring important improvements and significant contributions that continue to advance Silex.

🌟 Site of the Month: Congrès AFEF

The Congrès AFEF is an annual event by the French Association for the Study of the Liver, bringing together hepatology experts to discuss medical advancements.

🚀 July Contributions

There are still three of us contributing to the code and several others working on the future Silex website, and I also write documentation :)

1. @ceubri (WhyNotProd) worked on the Silex site design. You can ask for screenshots or a link on the community forum and provide your feedback!

2. Olivier and Simon fixed several bugs related to publishing on GitLab Pages (free, fast hosting with a custom domain name).

3. I (@lexoyo) started integrating WordPress, necessary for an Internet 2000 client, which will benefit everyone with documentation on using WordPress as a headless CMS with Silex. Contributions will soon be available on v3.silex.me.

4. I also started a new series of tutorials in English (translations welcome), the first of which are available on docs.silex.me.

🆕 New Feature of the Month: Notification System

Try it now on v3.silex.me

A bell icon lights up at the bottom left to indicate errors, warnings, and activities on your site. Notifications persist and are grouped by type, with direct links to the elements to be corrected. Test it and share your feedback by replying to this email or on the forums.

📢 Contributions Needed: Future Silex Website

Seeking support for several communication initiatives:

• Site Design: Brice is working on the site design. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome on the community forum.

• Site Content: Contributions needed to optimize the content. Reply to this email or post on the forums if you want to help.
